Translate Fedora in Microsoft Windows

1. Introduction

People who use Microsoft® Windows® can also join the Fedora translation team and work with people around the world. To participate, you need several tools:

  • A web browser that supports cookies

  • A Concurrent Versions System (CVS) client. This article uses TortoiseCVS.

  • An editor for .po files. This article uses poEdit.

  • A Secure Shell (ssh) client. This article uses puttygen, a free utility that generates a personalized digital ID using a public key infrastructure. This utility is bundled within TortoiseCVS.
