NVIDIA GPU Driver Installation
The NVIDIA binary drivers are not maintained by the Fedora Project and may sometimes not be available for the kernel version included in Fedora.
To game effectively when you have an NVIDIA graphics card, it is necessary for you to install the drivers first.
If you did not enable Third Party Software at install time, you will have to either install the RPM Fusion repositories, or enable its subset (that includes only the NVIDIA driver) from the software store.
To install the appropriate drivers for your card, follow the RPM Fusion Howto.
Depending on the model of your card, you may need to install a different version of the driver.
After installation, it is important to wait a few minutes for the driver to build properly before rebooting.
Secure Boot
If you have Secure Boot enabled, you must complete the module signing procedure (generating and enrolling a Machine Owner Key) before installing the akmod. Otherwise, Secure Boot will refuse to load the driver. See the RPM Fusion Secure Boot Howto for the procedure.
You can see if Secure Boot is enabled in your bios, or by checking with the mokutil program:
# Optionally install mokutil
dnf install mokutil
mokutil --sb-state
