Requesting a new runner

Fedora Forge runners are hosted as unprivileged Podman containers. Adjust your workflows accordingly; we do not plan to support privileged containers in the future.

Prerequisites

Before submitting a request, please ensure that:

  • Your organization already exists in Fedora Forge.

  • You are listed as one of the Owners of that organization.

Procedure: Filing a Request Ticket

All requests for a new runner in Fedora Forge must be submitted by filing a ticket on the Fedora Forge issue tracker. Please ensure you use the provided issue template when submitting your request.

Next Steps

After submitting your request ticket:

  • The Fedora Forge administrators will review your request.

  • Once approved and processed, the administrators will provision and register the runner.

  • Run your organization’s workflows.
