The Fedora Ready compatibility list includes hardware systems that have been confirmed to work well with the Fedora operating system. This list is a part of the Fedora Ready program, which is run by the Fedora Project to support vendors who ship or provide support for Fedora Linux on their devices. We keep this list updated to assist our users in making well-informed decisions when purchasing hardware intended for use with Fedora Linux.

Criteria for Vendor Listing

To get your device listed, hardware vendors can check out our Criteria for Vendor Listing. Once you have reviewed it, feel free to contact us to discuss about adding your device(s) to the list.

Device Categories

Vendors and devices are categorized into three main groups:

  • Fedora preinstalled: Computers that come with Fedora Linux officially preinstalled by the vendor.

  • Fedora supported by vendor: Computers tested and verified to run Fedora Linux successfully.

  • Fedora may run: Computers that may run Fedora Linux successfully based on informal assurances from the vendor.
