Packit as Fedora CI

Packit is now the CI system for pull requests in Fedora dist-git repositories, replacing the previous Jenkins-based pipelines.

Packit handles CI for pull requests only. It does not affect gating, which continues to work through Bodhi, Greenwave and the existing infrastructure.

Quick Reference

Tests in dist-git

If your package has tmt tests, they run automatically on pull requests. No configuration needed.

Retriggering tests

Retriggering is done via comments in pull requests. See retriggering docs for more options.

Test results

Results appear on the pull request in Pagure and in the Packit Dashboard.
